The delegation of the Republic of Cameroon visited the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations
On February 21, a working meeting with Cameroonian colleagues was held at the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The foreign delegation was headed by the Minister of Territorial Affairs of the Republic of Cameroon Atanga Njie Paul. At a bilateral meeting with Secretary of State - Deputy Minister Alexey Serko, issues of cooperation in the field of protecting the people and territories from natural and man-made emergencies were discussed. Attention was paid to interaction at the site of the International Civil Defense Organization.
Foreign guests visited the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, got acquainted with the emergency response system and the latest technologies in the field of space monitoring.
The Cameroon’s delegation also visited the Academy of the State Fire Service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The guests were introduced to the educational, scientific, service and educational activities of the university, its educational, material and scientific laboratory facilities. Representatives of the two sides discussed issues of Russian-Cameroonian cooperation in the field of personnel training.
The Cameroon’s side will consider the possibility of participating in the International Salon “Integrated Security” in the Moscow Region. At the event, you will be able to get acquainted with the work of Russian firefighters and rescuers and see the live application of Russian rescue technologies.
